Partnership: “A relationship between individuals or groups that is characterized by mutual cooperation and responsibility, as for the achievement of a specified goal.”
When I reflect on all that God has done over the years, there is no question that He has always chosen to accomplish it through a team. I first learned what teamwork meant playing volleyball throughout high school and college; and although working for Alternative Missions is quite different, the concept of partnership remains the same. Certain jobs were not meant to be done alone. I strongly believe that missions is one of these jobs.
Partnerships in ministry are essential because no individual or organization is capable of doing it all. I am so thankful for those of you who have identified with the need for missionary care and taken ownership of working towards the same goal of seeing missionaries maintain spiritual, emotional and relational wellness. Pray with me that God would continue to bring more partners in ministry alongside to see these goals to fruition!
Mother Teresa said it best in this:
“You can do what I cannot do; I can do what you cannot do; Together, we can accomplish great things.”
Some of the ways you can partner with me are through prayer, financial giving, networking and words of encouragement. In fact, I’ll post various need for prayer, finances, etc as they arise.
